My name is Loday Tsheten. I was born in a small Military Extension of the Royal Bhutan Army in one of the cold wintry months (November) of 1974. My parents are actually from Kurtoe- eastern part of Bhutan.
I have had my primary schoolings from Gunitshawa pry school and Shaba Junior school in Paro. I also studied in Jakar High School in Bumthang and Tshompling Junior school in Lhuntse. I completed by high school from Jigme Sherubling in Khaling, Trashigang. I graduated with Bachelors in Commerce (Hons) in the year 1998 from Sherubtse College and that college then had academic affiliation with Delhi University in India. I did my Masters in Business Administration from Edith Cowan University in Perth, Australia.
I worked for the Department of National Budget under Ministry of Finance as Budget Officer. In October 2007, I was transferred to the Anti-Corruption Commission and currently I am working as Sr. Prevention Officer under Prevention Division of the Commission.
As much as introvert in nature, I am also a peace and fun loving person. While I cannot stand dishonesty in a person, I often get flattered by qualities such as compassion, integrity, confidence and inspiration. I am gamesome and play almost all the games. I believe in team-work to achieve any heights in life.
I am also a recipient of the prestigious Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship of the United States of America.
